Round Rock, TX – The Round Rock Classic has announced game times and matchup schedule for the inaugural event set to take place Feb 21-23, 2020.

The 2020 Round Rock Classic will feature four of the country’s top teams over three days of play at Dell Diamond in Round Rock, TX home of the Round Rock Express, the Triple A affiliate of the Houston Astros. 

The weekend tournament will have two games per day with each team playing the other three times in a round robin format. The four teams for the 1st annual tournament played Feb 21st-23rd will consist of the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Stanford Cardinal, Houston Cougars, and the Tennessee Volunteers. Three of the four participating teams advanced to NCAA post-season play during the 2019 season with 2 advancing to the Super Regional Round, capped with Texas Tech making a return trip to the College World Series in Omaha for the 3rd time in the last 4 years. 

The schedule for the 2020 Round Rock Classic will kickoff Friday, Feb 21 at 3:00pm between Stanford and Houston followed by a 7:00pm matchup between Texas Tech and Tennessee.  Day 2 begins at 2:00pm with Tennessee taking on Houston followed by a 6:00pm start for Stanford and Texas Tech. The final day for the Classic starts with an 11:00am game between Tennessee and Stanford and the Classic finale is scheduled to begin at 3:00pm between Houston and Texas Tech.
